Andris Markovs is a former award-winning architect, performing arts production designer, restaurateur and tavern developer. As an architect, Andris worked extensively in London and subsequently left architecture to spend many creative years working in the management and technical sides of professional performing arts around the world. This included feature film, television, drama, opera, ballet and his favourite – contemporary dance.

His business enterprises have included successful consultancies and hospitality and design ventures, and he also ran a men’s health NGO for seven years as well as a stint as a local government councillor.

More recently he has been pursuing his passion and commitment for improving the quality of people’s lives through effective training in the mental health and suicide prevention sectors.
